Family Portraits | Wyoming Family Photographer

Christmas is 89 days away!  Which means I get to start decorating next month (yes, I decorate super early!!!).  Which also means it is time to start thinking about your family portraits for the holidays!

I just took some photos of my niece with all the fall foliage out here in Wyoming and Montana…so if you want those beautiful fall colors in your family portraits, RIGHT NOW is a great time!  If you want a snowy theme family photo, I have a feeling we only have to wait a week or two. 😉  We can also do studio portraits if you want to keep it inside.

Having trouble figuring out what to wear?  Check out my pinterest board on what to and what not to wear.

Ready to set something up?  Give me a call (cell: 239-634-4191) or shoot me an email (alison@alisonbeyerphotography.com) and we’ll get planning!

My studio is located in Clark, WY but we will travel for your outdoor session (Cody, Powell, Red Lodge, Billings)!

And for all my Southwest Florida friends…I’ll be back at the end of October and I have a couple spots open for family sessions!  🙂

HAPPY FALL!

Family Beach Portraits, Sanibel Island

So maybe 6 years ago I photographed my friends, Chris and Kim, at the beach, just the two of them (first photo below).  And here we are again, back at the beach plus two very adorable little girls!  It’s fun to see how much can change…even just looking back over this year.  Speaking of, where on earth did 2013 go?!

Just before Christmas we headed out to Lighthouse Beach on Sanibel Island for a sunset photoshoot.  These two little girls kept me laughing and having such a great time.  While one little girl is much more dainty and delicate, not really interested in getting sandy, wet or dirty…the younger sister didn’t mind getting soaked and even trying a bite or two of sand!  Such cute little girls!

Happy New Year!  I’m excited for 2014 and what it has in store (traveling???!)!

Unending cuteness is how I can sum up this session!  Love these two little girls, their big smiles and gorgeous eyes!

Amy + Dave, Family Portraits

Here is a little series of portraits from my last three sessions with this lovely family.  We started out with a Christmas maternity session at Koreshan State Park.  A couple months later I got a few quick shots at the hospital after Baby Girl #2 was born!  A week after that, beautiful baby Elise came in for her portraits and then when she was two months we got the whole family together (or at least at my studio at the same time 🙂 ).

I absolutely love seeing families grow…just six years ago we were taking their engagement portraits and here they are now with two gorgeous girls.  Congratulations Amy and Dave!

Downtown Fort Myers Family Portraits

And once again…I’m a little late on posting these portraits.  :-/  I enjoyed meeting this family very much.  Both the parents work in creative fields which made it really fun knowing they had a creative eye too.   In fact, Gretchen is an amazing painter..check her out: http://www.pawpalettes.com/home .

As I was looking through these I realized one of the locations is no more.  The new restaurant, Firestone, has painted the brick wall.  Crazy how downtown Fort Myers keeps changing, but it really looks great!

Back to the Beach, family portraits

This year has been so fun…and one big reason why is that I have had the opportunity to see so much growth in my dear sweet clients!  From beautiful couples tying the knot, to others having babies, to this gorgeous family and seeing their little ones grow a year older.  And now, even as I write this, I realize these two cutie pies are probably looking even older (I’m a little late on getting this blog post up, no surprise there!).

We’ve been able to join Gillian and her family on vacation on Captiva Island for two years in a row now to take some family portraits.  Always a pleasure and always fun!  Kids keep me laughing and really make my job fun.  🙂

Backyard Portraits, North Carolina

I was able to go visit my dear college friend up in North Carolina last month and meet her 9 month old baby boy for the first time.  It was so fun, he was such a little ham!

So as much as I love Florida and the beaches, I have to say the state of NC is quite lovely!  I really enjoyed my time up there and was able to take their family portraits in their own backyard.  Yes, I know what you are thinking, you’d like to rent out their backyard for your family portraits…well that can be arranged! Haha 🙂

And to the ‘S’ family…love and miss you all!

Love baby feet!!!!

Summer Family Portraits

I love this family!!!  Not only are they wonderful and sweet friends, but they are quite stylish and a blast to photograph!  And it was the first shoot in a long time where I didn’t have to dance around and act like a clown trying to get youngsters attention, haha. 😉

I told them I want to use their portraits as a great example of what you can wear.  While not being too matchy-matchy, they coordinated well, each with their own personal style.  Love it!  Some food for thought as you start planning your holiday portrait session.  Call me and we can discuss!
