Jessica | Senior Portrait Kentucky | Senior Photographer

Here is some more senior awesomeness… 🙂

This beautiful lady has already graduated but I never got the chance to put her senior photos on my blog and show her off!  I started photographing her 7 years ago (I think??) at a dance studio I do photography for in SWFL. We headed to a downtown area for her portraits…I think most downtown areas are great for seniors.  Plenty of options..brick, old gates, pretty trees, and so on!

I always tell my high school seniors to bring whatever props they would like, dance shoes, car, basketball… Jessica brought family fun!  Of course, I have to add some of her amazing dance portraits on here too, so talented.

Here are a few from her session …

Fun fact: I photoshopped 37 cigarette butts out of the photo below (come on, people!)

Hey 2020 Seniors!  I’m currently booking for fall senior portraits, feel free to call/email me and set up your session.

Southwest Florida friends…I’ll be back for portraits at the beginning of November and I still have a few openings left. 🙂

Happy Weekend!!

Alison

Just a reminder, this isn’t my regular website, my new one is coming soon!  But for now you are being directed to my blog (here).  😉 Just a heads up! Bear with me while I work on it.

9 Month Baby Portraits | Photo editing and retouching

I used to dread the editing and retouching part of photography.   When I went to college for photography it was pretty much all film (yeah, I’m older than you think I am, haha!) so retouching in Photoshop wasn’t a thing.  However, over the years I have really begun to enjoy it.  It’s fun to see an already awesome shot and then make it better!  This is something I recently added to my resume… retouching for other photographers (weddings, real estate, portraits, you name it!).

This shot is one that I took last weekend of my baby girl.  I’ve been dying to try out this spot…I pass it a few times every week when I take my kiddos for a walk/hike.  Since moving to Kentucky this has definitely become one of my absolute favorite areas…Buttermilk Falls.  The lighting, the trees, foilage, …swoon!

I didn’t shoot this image with this retouching in mind, but I love the soft, dreamy, fantasy feel to it.

So here is my before and after…

Happy Dreaming,

Alison

*Just restating…I’m working on getting a new website up, which is why for now when you type in http://www.alisonbeyerphotography.com, it comes here to my blog. So just a heads up! Bear with me while I work on it.  This is motivating me to get working on my blog more though! 😉

Family on the Boat | Family Portraits

Well, whether we are ready or not, fall is around the corner.  Before yesterday, our area of Kentucky was in a drought.  I have noticed many of the trees turning colors and dying too early due to the dry weather!  Nooo…that’s the best part of the fall is the fall foilage!

Anyway, I am looking over my fall calendar today and gearing up for family portraits before the holidays.  If you are in SWFL, I’ll be making a quick trip back and would love to set something up with you!  Shoot me a text or email (info below). 🙂

Kentuckians, I’ll be here with some great location and portrait ideas. Give me a shout and we’ll get planning!

Need some ideas for your family portraits?  I loved this family’s prop idea…we took them at the marina where they have their boat.  Fun over-sized prop!

*Sidenote: Just wanted to say again, I’m still working on getting a new website up, which is why for now when you type in http://www.alisonbeyerphotography.com, it comes here to my blog. So just a heads up! Bear with me while I work on it.

Happy Almost-Everything-Pumpkin Season!

Ashley | Senior Portraits | Kentucky Senior Photographer

Welcome August! It’s hard to believe it is time for Back to School. Although I must say, I’m not quite ready for summer to go…while it is hot, I have thoroughly enjoyed all the summer outside activities with my kiddos.

So for about a month now I’ve been working on getting a new website up, which is why for now when you type in http://www.alisonbeyerphotography.com, it comes here to my blog. So just a heads up! Bear with me while I work on it (I’m not very website tech savvy!).

In the meantime, here’s some senior portraits taken of Ashley, class of 2019. This young lady was such a good sport, we took her photos in immense heat and humidity and then got stuck in a massive downpour. We ended up finishing another day in a second location so we got some fun variety.

If you are looking for a senior portrait photographer, give me a shout! Would love to chat and set something up. 🙂

And congratulations, Ashley!  I wish you all the best!

Cheers,

Alison

Lyndsey + Samuel, A Church Wedding

I finished up this couple’s album a few months back and still haven’t gotten around to putting the rest of their photos up here!  So here they are…a nice little collage of their wedding day. 🙂

Valerie + Erik, Kentucky Wedding

Spring is just around the corner, and so is wedding season, my favorite!  I’m definitely ready for some beautiful green scenery and wedding bouquets.

I photographed this wedding last fall, finally getting the rest of the images up here.  Such a lovely wedding in Brandenburg, Kentucky at the Southern Grace Bed and Breakfast.  Enjoy the rest of these, and happy planning to all you new brides out there!

Cheers,

Alison

What a perfect southern September wedding this last Saturday here in Kentucky!  I loved the opportunity to photograph this sweet couple’s wedding at the Southern Grace Bed and Breakfast.  Lovely couple, gorgeous backdrops…a wedding photographer’s dream (swoon!).

Here’s a couple of my favs with more to come soon…

Congratulations Valerie and Erik!
